Bon Appétit Magazine Names Martin's one of America's 50 Best New Restaurants

Gosh, it's not everyday we find ourselves on a list like this. Bon Appétit magazine recently named us one of the Top 50 New Restaurants in the U.S. We're incredibly humbled they included us and we're excited to be listed among some friends in Nashville: Bastion and Henrietta Red also made the Top 50. To our friends at Bon Appétit, we're glad you enjoyed it. Come back and see us anytime.

Check out their review of our 'que, and see the full list of the Top 50 New Restaurants in the U.S. here.

To discover why we first fell in love with Pat Martin’s whole hog BBQ. It was at his original location in Nolensville, TN (the newest location in downtown Nashville is his sixth) where we first tasted what he called “redneck spaghetti,” basically whole hog meat picked from the belly in long strands. At his latest, you’ll get Martin’s signature West Tennessee-style whole hog (cooked in one of four cinder-blocked pits) plus killer wings, live music, and over 30 types of beer. The sprawling space is ginormous—500 seats over a multilevel 13,000-square-foot former warehouse space. It’s like a BBQ-themed amusement park, and we can’t wait to go back.
